jHeidi

HeidiSQL is a MySQL database manager that is very popular on the Windows platform. It stands out for providing a simple graphical environment to perform operations that until now have been done through commands.

Unfortunately, HeidiSQL does not have a version for Mac OS X, but not for long. Now there is jHeidi, and alternative to HeidiSQL developed in Java that aims to bring Mac OS X almost all of the features available in Windows.

Some features in jHeidi which are also found in HeidiSQL are:

-Create, update, delete database tables, feilds, or indexes.

-Window for interactive SQL queries.

-User Management.

-Browser support for MySQL.

-Management of the connection profile.

-Export to CVS, HTML, and XML.

-Import CVS.
